Buckwheat Pillows Made in the USA
When I found these Buckwheat Pillows, I was excited about finding a type of pillow made in the good ole’ USA. Then when I emailed the owner of Buckwheatglory.com, I found an American Icon that I want everyone that reads my blog to know about. Here is a man who stands for America. At his age, he could be retired and just thinking about himself, but he’s not. He cares about our Country and I want you to hear about him! This is a company that I am going to make sure everyone reads about. Please check out his website.
I couldn’t give you this information any better than Linwood Starner himself, so I am using his own words to tell you about Buckwheatglory.com
“I am 71, and retired. I wanted to supplement my retirement income and I also didn’t want to just vegetate, so I looked into promoting something on a website, although I never had any training on a PC. I was told I should find a product to sell that I was passionate about. A niche where there wouldn’t be too much competition.
I had had a friend of mine make for me a buckwheat pillow years ago, and I love sleeping on that pillow. I take it with me any time I’m staying away from home overnight. I had seen the cheap foreign buckwheat hull pillows that were pretty much all I could find in stores, if I could find any. Even those were few and far between. This was before things had proliferated on the web, or if they had, I was too computer illiterate to know it. So I had found myself a niche about which I was passionate, and if it was going to be sold on a web site of mine, it was going to be made in the US of A.
In nearly 72 years of going from seeing our stores filled with high quality merchandise being produced by conscientious craftsmen, to now finding them filled with foreign junk that sometimes falls apart before it survives the trip home, I’ve become somewhat disillusioned with our culture in that respect. We no longer seem to appreciate value and quality. It seems people today will buy anything if it’s cheap enough. We used to buy things that would, in many cases, last us the rest of our lives, and then they would be passed on down to our children and grandchildren, little the worse for wear.
The biggest shame of this cultural decline is the loss of jobs here at home. Our work force used to thrive on quality, but it became victim to the cheap slave labor wages being paid elsewhere, in spite of the fact that the end result was substantially inferior. Therefore I persisted until I found a source of the highest quality hand crafted organic buckwheat pillows made entirely from organic components, all grown in the US of A, and produced by a family who make 1 pillow at a time, from only the highest quality elements.
Now I know I’m not going to change the way America at large is going to do business, but at least I’ll have the satisfaction of knowing that I’m providing Americans with a really good night’s sleep, if they choose to invest in one of the organic, handcrafted, triple vacuumed, hypoallergenic, buckwheat hull pillows I sell. For good measure I give a FREE aromatherapy sachet with each pillow in customer’s choice of lavender, chamomile, or a blend. I also provide 1 full year money back satisfaction guarantee.
In my attained position of seasoned citizen, I can at least say that I sleep very well at night. For two reasons. First, because I am honored to do my part to promote a quality product made in the US of A, and secondly, because I sleep on one of them (a buckwheat pillow).”
Thank You sir! Well said!
